As gun enthusiasts, we grew increasingly frustrated with the seemingly endless time and money we invested in live fire practice with only nominal improvement. We knew to improve our skills we had to practice more frequently but personal instructors were too costly and dry firing simply did not improve our aim and worse only encouraged us to develop unsafe habits. In our search for something, better we tried everything available in the market and only hit a dead end, so we decided to develop our own training system, a training system dedicated to all gun owners to address all issues. We knew we had to develop a training system that looked, felt and acted like a real pistol but without live ammo to allow a shooter to train anywhere. We also knew that the key ingredient every shooter needs to be safe and accurate is a personal trainer. The trainer coaches shooters on proper pistol safety, proper use of sights and how to squeeze the trigger. The next step was designing a target system that could act as both practice and drills so the shooter could test the new skills they were developing before they went to a live range. The final component was to create a summary of training sessions so shooters could see what they were doing wrong and see how they improve session by session. This was a tall order so we knew we had to bring in the best team that understood, was passionate about and most importantly had the hard skills to make it a reality and we did just that. The iPTS team combines leading figures in the electronics and firearms industries to bring you an intelligent new standard for safe, effective, all-in-one firearms training.
